Welcome to our volunteer page! There are many ways you can support the valuable work that we do.
Have a look at our volunteer stories to find out more about what volunteers have learned and gained from their experience at Self Injury Support.
This is a unique opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and offer meaningful emotional support on a UK wide service.
Trustees oversee the development and strategic direction of the charity. Currently we are especially looking for expertise in marketing and fundraising.
We are always looking for help in a range of areas such as administration, marketing, social media and website development, fundraising, or even one-off research projects.
Self Injury Support has received money from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to research the story of how our pioneering service was created. Over the next 18 months volunteers will be helping us interview the founding members of Bristol Crisis Service for Women and digging through our archives to piece together the story of how feminist activists in Bristol created a groundbreaking service for women in distress.
